Please read these terms carefully before booking an appointment or placing an order with Prestige Bridal Studio.

1. Introduction

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of services provided by Prestige Bridal Studio ("we", "us", "our"), located at 14 Queen St, Mansfield NG18 1JN.

By booking an appointment, placing an order, or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Appointments

2.1 Booking

  • All appointments must be booked in advance via our website, email, or telephone.
  • Bridal appointments typically last up to 2 hours to ensure a relaxed and personalised experience.
  • We recommend booking at least 2 weeks in advance, particularly for weekend appointments.
  • We offer flexible appointment times including evenings and Sundays by arrangement.

2.2 Cancellation & Rescheduling

  • We kindly request a minimum of 48 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee of up to £50 being applied to future bookings.
  • We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule appointments due to unforeseen circumstances, in which case we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange an alternative.

2.3 Guests

  • To maintain an intimate and focused experience, we recommend bringing a maximum of 3 guests to your appointment.
  • Please inform us in advance if you require additional guests, as this may need to be accommodated at a less busy time.
  • Children are welcome but must be supervised at all times.

3. Orders & Payment

3.1 Deposits

  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total dress price is required to secure your order.
  • The deposit must be paid at the time of ordering.
  • Deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances, as orders are placed directly with designers upon receipt.

3.2 Balance Payment

  • The remaining balance must be paid in full before or upon collection of your dress.
  • Dresses will not be released until full payment has been received.
  • We accept payment by cash, card, or bank transfer.

3.3 Pricing

  • All prices displayed are in British Pounds (GBP) and include VAT where applicable.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice, but any price quoted at the time of order will be honoured.
  • Additional services such as alterations, steaming, and accessories are charged separately.

4. Delivery & Collection

4.1 Lead Times

  • Wedding dresses are made to order and typically take 4-6 months for delivery from the designer.
  • We strongly recommend ordering your dress at least 6-8 months before your wedding date to allow time for any alterations.
  • Rush orders may be available with certain designers for an additional fee.
  • We will notify you as soon as your dress arrives in the studio.

4.2 Collection

  • Dresses must be collected by appointment from our Mansfield studio.
  • Dresses should be collected within 30 days of notification, unless alternative arrangements have been made.
  • A storage fee of £10 per week may be applied for dresses not collected within 30 days.
  • Dresses not collected within 6 months of notification may be disposed of at our discretion.

4.3 Inspection

  • Upon arrival, your dress will be inspected and steamed before your collection appointment.
  • Please inspect your dress thoroughly at the time of collection and report any concerns immediately.
  • Once the dress leaves the studio, we cannot accept responsibility for any damage, marks, or issues.

5. Alterations

  • All wedding dresses are made to standard sizing and may require alterations to achieve the perfect fit.
  • Alterations are charged separately and are not included in the dress price unless explicitly stated.
  • We offer a full alterations service in-house, carried out by our experienced seamstress.
  • We recommend scheduling your first fitting approximately 8-10 weeks before your wedding.
  • Multiple fittings may be required depending on the complexity of alterations needed.
  • Significant weight changes after ordering may result in additional alteration costs or may affect the final fit.
  • Payment for alterations is due at the time of each fitting.

6. Returns & Refunds

Due to the bespoke nature of bridal wear, the following policies apply:

  • Wedding dresses are made to order and are therefore non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
  • Deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.
  • Cancellation of an order after the dress has been ordered from the designer will result in forfeiture of the full deposit.
  • We do not accept returns on any items that have been worn, altered, or removed from the studio.
  • Sample sale items, accessories, and jewellery are sold as seen and are non-refundable.
  • In the unlikely event that your dress arrives faulty or significantly different from your order, please contact us immediately so we can work with the designer to resolve the issue.

7. Care & Responsibility

  • Once your dress has been collected, you are responsible for its care and storage.
  • We recommend storing your dress in the provided garment bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.
  • We are not responsible for any damage caused by improper storage, cleaning, or handling after collection.
  • We strongly advise against wearing perfume, makeup, or fake tan while trying on dresses.
  • Any damage caused to sample dresses during appointments may result in repair or replacement charges.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • Prestige Bridal Studio shall not be held liable for any delays in delivery caused by designers, manufacturers, or circumstances beyond our control.
  • We are not responsible for any consequential losses, including but not limited to venue costs, photographer fees, or other wedding-related expenses, arising from any delay or issue with your order.
  • Our total liability in any matter relating to your order shall not exceed the total amount paid for that order.
  • While we take every care with your dress, we cannot guarantee against minor variations in colour, fabric texture, or detailing from samples or images shown.
  • We are not responsible for any allergic reactions to fabrics, materials, or products used in dresses or accessories.

9. Photography & Social Media

  • We may take photographs during your appointment or collection for use on our website, social media, and marketing materials.
  • If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform us at the start of your appointment.
  • We love seeing photos of our brides on their wedding day! If you tag us or send us photos, we may share them on our social media (with your permission).

10. Privacy & Data Protection

  • We collect and process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
  • Your personal information (name, contact details, wedding date, measurements) is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order and providing our services.
  • We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
  • We may share your details with designers and manufacturers solely for the purpose of fulfilling your order.
  • You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time.

11. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:

  • Natural disasters, extreme weather events, or acts of God
  • Pandemic, epidemic, or public health emergency
  • War, terrorism, civil unrest, or government action
  • Industrial disputes, strikes, or labour shortages
  • Supply chain disruptions or manufacturer delays
  • Failure of third-party services or utilities

In such circumstances, we will work with you to find an alternative solution where possible.

13. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. The terms that apply to your order will be those in effect at the time of booking or purchase.
